All about Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park
The beautifully constructed Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park is spread over 7 acres and was formally inaugurated in February 2013. Although it is a recent addition to the Pune itinerary, it has gained immense popularity among local folks and tourists alike.

The place is divided into 7 core areas- automobiles, fun science, energy, climate change, 3D show, science park, and Dino Park.
In the automobile area, you can look at the mechanism and functioning of the clutch, brake, gear, among other parts that you can operate manually to learn its working. The fun science area has all the lights, magnet, and mirror effects to enjoy.
The science park and Dino park on the outside are coupled with various exhibits to experience the science behind things and display dinosaurs from an era bygone.
Each exhibit has something new and unique to offer. It is ideal for kids and adults to enjoy the functioning of basic things to the most complex ones. It is a must visit tourist destination of Pune.

The Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park is maintained by the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) and Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation (PCMC). The PCMC organises "Popular science lectures", where prominent speakers from the science field share their knowledge and understanding. The PCMC further hosts science events like- science fairs, science workshops, and science seminars, for which advanced circulars are given to nearby schools and colleges.

The science park is on Kalewadi road, near the auto cluster exhibition centre, Chinchwad. Since it is a prominent landmark in the PCMC area, it is fairly comfortable to reach it without getting lost.

Entry fee and timings of Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park
The Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park has a single-window for entry tickets and tickets for the Taramandal and the 3D show.
For children below 15 years of age, the entrance fee is ₹30/- while it is ₹50/-for others. The Taramandal and 3D show charges are ₹20/- for children below 15 years, and for the rest it is ₹30/-.
#Note: There is no parking fee.
The Pimpri Chinchwad Science Park remains open from 10 AM to 5:45 PM from Tuesday to Sunday. For maintenance purposes, the place remains closed on Mondays.
